Mission Statement
Inspiring a new generation of learners to pursue their passions and careers without the burden of excessive college debt, while still obtaining the necessary knowledge and skills in just 2-years.
Vision
The vision at 2-Years Experience is to change the face of higher education by disproving the conventional wisdom that a bachelor’s degree is necessary for professional advancement. I am determined to spread the word about the 2-year experience because it is a sensible, affordable, and effective way to get students ready to compete in the modern job market without burdening them with the massive debt that comes with a 4-year degree. The 2-year degree represents the future of education in the modern world. Our goal is to help students make educated decisions about their academic and professional futures.
Core Values
Practicality:
I’m arguing for 2-years of Experience because I think it’s a good compromise between cost and practicality in schooling. The goal of today’s community college is to give students a leg up in the competitive job market of the twenty-first century, not the one of the past.
Affordability:
I understand many students are unable to pursue higher education because of financial considerations. For this reason, I have made it my mission to make the case that 2-year degree programs can offer the same quality education as 4-year degrees for a fraction of the cost.
Equality:
I think that all people, regardless of where they come from or how much money they have, should be able to afford a good 2-year education.
Career-Focused:
2-year programs are typically more career-focused, offering students relevant and up-to-date skills and knowledge needed for today’s job market.
Adaptable:
I believe that 2-year degree programs are more flexible in responding to shifts in the labor market and the emergence of new industries, allowing students to receive an education that is both current and relevant.
